In his 27 years as a stand-up comic Jeffrey Jena has appeared on over thirty five national television show, including The Dennis Miller show, HBO, MTV, Evening at the Improv
NBC Friday Night and The Showtime Comedy Club Network.
On Saturday, September 13 Wes Martens and the OC Pavilion present a comedy seminar and show. Jeff Jena was the house emcee and manager of the Irvine Improv for several years. His standup comedy classes were attended by many LA and OC comics and he helped many get their start in comedy.
The seminar will be in two parts starting at noon on September 13. The first part will focus on improving comedy writing skills followed by a discussion on how to make money being funny. Cost of the seminar is $39 and includes admission to the evening show. Many of Jeff’s fans and former students will attend. Evening show starts at 7:30pm. Entrance to the show is $10 to $15.
As an actor, Jeff has been seen on Murder She Wrote, Hunter, appeared in shows with Jenny McCarthy and Weird Al Yankovic and in several films including "Raising the Dead" with Allison Eastwood which is being released in the spring.
Jeff has opened for acts as varied as Barry Manilow, Jeffrey Osborne, The Temptations, Delbert McClintock, and Englebert Humperdinck. Jeff is also a frequent guest on the Bob and Tom Show, a nationally syndicated radio show and the Mark Germain Talk Show in Los Angeles.
