With its hidden location in the old shipyard area of Lido, longtime fans have tried to keep this restaurant a local secret. But word of the exceptional food keeps drawing new worshippers of the homemade sausage and other family recipes that have been made with tasteful care for nearly 20 years. The place gets packed on weekends; reservations are a must here.

Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait over 1.5 hours for our table. Our food didn't arrive until 2 hours after ordering. The complimentary wine and appetizers we were offered for the wait were included in the bill. When we asked management to remove the charges, we were told they were never offered to us for free and we must be lying. Additionally, the 'manager' (who also doubles as a miserable singer on the patio) told us that if we didn't like his decision, we didn't have to come back.
What a disaster! This place should focus on making sausage (which isn't that good to begin with), not serving it.
