An uptight police officer (Samuel L. Jackson), the self-appointed watchdog of his neighborhood, strongly disapproves of the interracial newlyweds (Patrick Wilson, Kerry Washington) who just moved in next door. He becomes increasingly hostile toward the innocent pair, going to great lengths to force them out of their home. Events take a tragic turn when the couple decide to fight back.

INTRO/CAST
Lakeview Terrace was a pretty good thriller and the last 40 minutes kept me on the edge of my seat. This film stars Samuel L. Jackson, Patrick Wilson (havent seen him in anything before but he did a good job, so you will definitely be seeing more of him) and Kerry Washington. The acting in this movie was perfectly fine and like I said Sam Jackson did one of his best jobs in this movie.
PLOT:
In "Lakeview Terrace," a young couple (Patrick Wilson and Kerry Washington) has just moved into their California dream home when they become the target of their next-door neighbor, who disapproves of their interracial relationship. A stern, single father, this tightly wound LAPD officer (Samuel L. Jackson) has appointed himself the watchdog of the neighborhood. His nightly foot patrols and overly watchful eyes bring comfort to some, but he becomes increasingly harassing to the newlyweds. These persistent intrusions into their lives ultimately turn tragic when the couple decides to fight back.
WRAP UP:
The only major flaw with this film was that it was pretty slow in the beginning but overall it kept pace after that. Overall Lakeview Terrace gets 3 stars out of 5 and a B on the grade scale. I Say See It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
