Vicky Cristina Barcelona

Should have been called "Woody's Wet Dream". Same old Allen angst we've seen innumerable times. Acting is superb, however, just the screenplay stinks. Any movie needing narration to set the plot inevitably fails. Bardem and Cruz sizzle but Scarlett plays the part of an aimless airhead in whom we get no insight. 3 stars for the actors, zip for Woody's replay of half a dozen other flics.
