Coming this spring… A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum takes to the IVC Main Stage.
Forum is an outrageous musical farce that has delighted audiences for decades. Centered around the antics of the Pseudolus, the plays’ central character, the show moves quickly from scene to scene outlining Pseudolus’s crafty plotting to gain his one goal in life: “To be Free!” Visually the play is filled with colorful characters and costumes, all who sing the clever lyrics of Stephen Sondheim. If you only see one play this spring, make it A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at Irvine Valley College. This performance will be held in IVC’s new performing arts venue.
