Docents give tours every 15 minutes from 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Five areas of interest are covered: history, birds, endangered species, ecology and restoration.

Meet at the ecological reserve's south lot, across the street from the main entrance to Bolsa Chica State Beach. Tours are stationed on the footbridge. Tours are free, first-come first-served.
