The Indie Band Series continues with Jose Gonzalez headlining an evening that begins with DJ Paul V from media partner Indie 103.1 at 8 p.m. followed by Richard Swift.
Gonzalez, known for his crystal-clear singing voice and vibrant, classically-inspired guitar playing, will perform with a full band to open the 2008-2009 Indie Band season. In 2004 he won the Swedish Grammy for Best Newcomer, followed in 2006 by the European Border Breaker Award and the Swedish Government’s Music Export Award in 2007. Richard Swift, emanates with a vintage good-time persona. His new album, Dressed Up For The Letdown, presents his winning combo of talents: songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer – all wrapped up in a charismatic personality.
