The Free for All Series launched last year continues with the return of Monday Movie Nights on the community plaza.
This absolutely free event will feature some of the biggest and most popular movie musicals ever. Offered in association with the Newport Beach Film Festival, this year’s Center selection includes Easter Parade, starring Judy Garland and Fred Astaire (July 14), Grease starring Olive Newton-John and John Trevolta (July 21) and The Muppet Movie, starring Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy (July 28). On August 4th the Monday Movie Nights conclude with Hairspray, starring John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer and Queen Latifa. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs as the movies will be screened on the wall of Segerstrom Hall. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, but guests may bring their own snacks and picnic suppers. Barbecues and similar food preparation will not be permitted.
