The exterior of La Vie en Rose replicates a Normandy farmhouse, and just one look prepares diners to be transported to another time and place after they walk through the door.
While this is a fine-dining restaurant, there isn’t nose-in-the-air snobbery here. One of the long-time hostesses will promptly lead you to your table, while attentive, white coat-clad servers silently do their work.
This is the type of place where employees stay for the long-haul. No gum-chomping short-timers working to pay for their college tuition or lowered Scion, thank you.
Chef Brian Tran’s menu reflects classic French favorites, from frog legs and escargot to filet mignon in béarnaise sauce. Dinners include a basic appetizer and dessert and start at $38.75. Considering you get three amazing courses, the pricing is quite reasonable. The flexible menu also offers plenty of choices for upgrading your appetizer and/or dessert for an extra cost.
